Windermere Lake Cruises’ brand-new 300-seat MV Swift embarked on its maiden voyage last Sunday, October 25th 2020.
The boat is smaller than the other boats in their fleet and is fully accessible for passengers with disabilities.
The vessel was built at Lakeside, and after being inspected by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, it was granted a Passenger Certificate, ready for service.
The launch of this new boat has come at a time of significant uncertainty in the tourism industry.
Undoubtedly, the MV Swift has a bright future on the lake and will play a significant role in helping the economic recovery after the Coronavirus pandemic.
