The West Windermere Way is a new trail that opened in March 2023, connecting Newby Bridge and Lakeside in the Lake District National Park.

The trail is 6 kilometers long, following the shore of Windermere, and is suitable for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders.

It is also wheelchair accessible, making it a great option for people of all abilities to enjoy the beauty of the Lake District.

The West Windermere Way starts at Newby Bridge and follows the lakeshore to Lakeside.

Along the way, it passes through a variety of landscapes, including woodlands, meadows, and farmland.

There are also several points of interest along the trail, such as the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, Stott Park Bobbin Mill.

The West Windermere Way is a great way to experience the natural beauty of the Lake District. It is also a relatively easy trail, making it a good option for families and people of all fitness levels.
