Fell Foot Park, at the bottom end of Windermere, is a very popular visitor attraction and only 8 miles from Lothlorien.
This Victorian country park is in the ownership of the National Trust and has free parking for members.
With stunning views up Windermere, lakeshore access, excellent café, picnic area (including BBQ area) and children’s adventure playground Fell Foot is a great place to visit.
The park is ideal for parents and youngsters alike.
