Morecambe Carnival

If you were thinking about going to a music festival I guess Morecambe wouldn’t be your first choice for live entertainment.

Normally, you would consider a stroll along the sandy beach or watching wading birds on the shore.

How wrong you would be!

Last night, Morecambe Carnival turned out to be the best night out I have had for years despite the atrocious weather.

With a fantastic line-up of bands including Alesha Dixon, Scouting For Girls, Kevin Simm (who won the Voice) and many others, Morecambe rocked and all credit to Bay Radio and the organisers for putting on such an amazing event.

I am now much wiser and know that Alesha Dixon is brilliant as well as gorgeous and the final act, Scouting For Girls are fantastic, the best band since Slade!
