The inspiration for the garden festival grew from the popularity of the Lakeland Rose Show.
Over the years it has attracted some of the UK’s top horticulturalists, nurseries and specialist growers.
In this beautiful setting in Holker parkland, combined with a relaxed ‘garden-party’ atmosphere, the event is unique.
Incidentally, the gardens of Holker are also unique to this part of the Lakes owing to the microclimate here.

However, with over 200 exhibitors with demonstrations and wonderful displays of food, horticulture and show gardens the show has something for everyone
Furthermore, If you are feeling hungry the Courtyard Cafe provides a perfect setting for a bite to eat.
The majority of the Holker Hall site is suitable for wheelchair users.
Additionally, disabled toilets are situated in the Courtyard Cafe.
